Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Switch, Delta, Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. Payment is taken with order. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone or by post. If you need to cancel your order, please notify us immediately by phone. We reserve the right to pass on the card handling fee charged by our payment processor for issuing a refund and any delivery charges already paid by us.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately and we will correct the mistake, where possible.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling All delivery prices will be displayed when making your purchase, based on the delivery location, your purchases and any offers we may have in place at the time.

Our normal delivery areas are shown as options on the website, when purchasing products. If you require a delivery to an area not shown, please contact us. Where possible we will carry out local deliveries using our own trained staff and vehicle.

Delivery Schedule We will always try to fulfil orders within five working days. If for any reason this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative day and give you the opportunity to amend or cancel your order.

We normally deliver all products locally ourselves ,but if your goods are sent by a third party carrier you must inform us immediately if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. You must inspect the goods on delivery and sign the delivery note to agree that you are happy with the items received. If you are not happy then you must inform the person delivering the goods and sign the delivery note to explain why before contacting us. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received in good condition. We must be informed within seven days if you find any issues with the delivery, after signing the delivery note and we will attempt to assist you if we can.

Force Majeure

No liability will be accepted by Best Furniture Direct for any failure or delay in delivery wholly or partially due to an Act of God, War, Fire, Explosion, Riot, Civil Commotion, Restriction by Government or the competent authority, Strikes, Lock Outs, Failure in Supplies or any cause beyond our control.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges V.A.T. is not currently applied to goods ordered. In the future, if V.A.T. is shown as included in the price, then orders made from the UK or the European Union will have V.A.T. applied at the current rate.

Payment Security When the order is placed at our website, sensitive payment details, including credit card numbers, are encrypted using PayPal’s secure encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Order processing software is protected by password access only by approved staff.

Any refund will be paid within 30 days. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

Remittance Terms All products must be paid for before being handed over. Best Furniture Direct remains the rightful owner of all products dispatched and delivered until they are paid for in full.
